Can we discover a God who can act and who is a person?

... that's the only kind of God I want to know, but does he exist? Someone commented on my blog - To me. God, heaven, etc are all within. no place to go. God is not out there. He is within each and everyone of us. - can God be a "person" with independant actions, if he's nothing more than a metaphorical part of out nature?

Good paper, Fr. Marsh.
