Image Shadow: A New WordPress Plugin
Print Version June 28th, 2008
I’ve released a new plugin, Image Shadow, which creates soft, realistic drop-shadows (frames too) for the jpeg images in your posts.
Thanks to David at PhotoLinkLove for the inspiration. You can see the plugin in action with the beautiful photographs on his blog.

Thank you! This plugin is a joy to use. It’s very simple and it does a great job of presenting the photos. You just have to remember to turn the wp-cache off before you use it and turn it back on afterwards. But it’s a great help.

I guess people can now use Phootshop Express to modify images online, but maybe that won’t work with Wordpress?

David: It certainly looks good on your photos.

crystal: The idea is to generate the effect without actually modifying the image itself.
